    Pretty cool,

I let Bob and Shirley know what yous guys are up to.

When are you going to have it so there can be interactive chat. Boston fans were wild about that offensive foul call on Pierce with 27 seconds left, I mean WILD!!!!!!!!!!

The Celts got problems, this team needs to be (partially) broken up and retooled. Ray A, Tony A, Scal all expiring contracts—we’ll see what Danny can do.

Interactive Chat! That’s a tough one for an little operation like ours.

I’m not sure Boston needs to bust things up yet. But I do think they need to just suck it up and lose games in the regular season and have a healthy squad for the playoffs. Plus it’ll be good for bench players to get playing time against starters.

  2. Hi Above Courtside Says:

PM, if you had watched this team blow as many 4th quarter leads as I have over the past 6 weeks you might see things differently.

Latest rumor this morning is Ray A for Heinrich and Tyrus Thomas

    • pmadavi Says:

Well . . . that’s a stupid trade. Heinrich can’t shoot. Tyrus Thomas is an upgrade over Tony Allen. Still, Ray Allen can’t really be replaced as a shooter. Makes sense for Chicago. They need a bomber to balance out their team and Noah makes Thomas redundant.

Remember when Hinrich and Thomas were supposed to be the bait in a Kobe trade? That was two summers ago. How times change.

Dave, what’s going on in the 4th? I don’t get it. Is the Ray Gun as old as the Tommy Gun all of the sudden?

    • Hi Above Courtside Says:

Too old of legs and too many minutes. If Ray was playing 20-25 minutes a game, I really think he’d be draining them. But Doc is playing him 40-45 minutes a game. It is not all Doc’s fault, the Celts really don’t have a good back up shooting guard. House is too many and streaky, Tony Alen can’t shoot and is too schizophrenic, Marquis has been injured and is a slasher not a shooter.

PM says that Hinnie can’t shoot–and he does have a poor pct this year—but it sure seemed like he lit up the Celts in the playoff last year. Thomas could provide help on the boards, the celts are out rebounded on a nightly basis (wed night was the exception, not the rule) There is another guy being mentioned from Chicago—James I think.

A couple weeks ago the rumor was Ray for Monta Ellis—now that got me excited!!!
