LeBron PER Near Record Pace

by

It's good to be the King.

All-Time Highest PER mark for a full season: 31.89 – Michael Jordan 1988

LeBron James 2010 – 31.85 (so far)

He’s got a shot at it.

Also he’s got the best PER ever for a player in his 7th season. For what that’s worth. Which isn’t much. Also interesting, sort of, is that since the merger, 3 of the top 10 7th season PER scores are for players drafted in 2003.

Here’s the list.

For those of you who are counting, #2 on that list, Mr. Michael Jordan won his first title in his 7th season. That’s what Mr. LeBron James is after now. He’s got a shot at it too.
